Sorry I missed the auction this year. Great job everyone!
Once again, awesome! Little did we imagine when we started the auction 26 years ago that so many people would do so much to keep the spirit so alive. Thanks to all the volunteers and auction goers for showing again just how great a community Waynesboro is.
Wow! Last night was again a wonderful tribute to the dedication of the people of a small community. It was so much more than a \"fundraiser\". I have been attending your auction for about 10 years, and look forward to the event all winter. As a \"Relay for Lifer\" from MD, I am somewhat worried about the effect of the economy on fundraising events this year, but if our event is anywhere near as successful as last night, I will be thrilled. Everyone involved (appeared to be hundreds) should be proud of their efforts, and delighted with the results. Remember, only 51 weeks and 6 days until the 28th Gala Auction!
This is my 5th year on the Cancer Auction team, and every year I look forward to not only helping, but attending the auction. The American Cancer Society did wonders when our family members\' life was being taken over by cancer, therefore, we show our appreciation by helping others. We may have not beat the cancer, but with help, we can help others win their fight. We WILL find the cure SOON.
